NZB Drop 2.0
I am pleased to announce the immediate availability of NZB Drop 2.0.
This release has been in the works for a very long time, and constitutes a dramatic improvement over version 1. NZB Drop is now a complete solution for locating, downloading, and processing content on Usenet newsgroups. From searching for files with any available Usenet search engine, all the way through par2 check and repair, and the unpacking of rar archives, NZB Drop handles it all. And with up to 100 simultaneous connections per server, a faster solution simply does not exist.
Significant changes include:
- New unified user interface with browser window
- Grouping of related files into collections
- Par2 check and repair, with automatic retrieval of recovery blocks
- Unrar, unzip, and split-file assembly
- Inline search using binsearch.info or other usenet search engine
- Support for up to 100 simultaneous connections per server
- Option to skip specified filetypes, e.g. nfo, log, txt, md5, cue, sample
- Option to clean up par2, rar, zip, and split files after successful processing
