I am pleased to announce the immediate availability of NZB Drop 1.2. This is a free upgrade for all registered users. This release offers several new features, along with performance improvements and numerous bug fixes. All customers are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this new version.

Significant changes include:

- Bandwidth limiting
- Time remaining indicator
- Separate directory for storing parts
- Optional suppression of Errors window
- Error details for corrupt nzb files
- Files remaining indicator in dock icon
- Fixed problem decoding binhex files
- Numerous bug fixes

Welcome to Asar’s new blog.

After being holed up coding for much too long, I’m pleased to put the tired old web pages to rest with the launch of this new site. I don’t claim to be much of a web designer, but hopefully this is a bit of an improvement. Please do let me know what you think.

As I’m still figuring out XHTML and CSS, not to mention Wordpress, you’ll have to bear with me as I work out all the kinks. If there are any glaring problems please let me know.
